Do not buy candy

The high sugar content in candy provides food to the bacteria inside your mouth that are linked to cavities. The bacteria feed on the sugar and secrete a weak acid that eats away at the enamel of your teeth. Therefore, avoiding candy during Halloween is a great idea.
